My name is Tumpa. I am 20 years old. I am married but do not have any children. I chose my husband which  isn’t as common in Bangladesh other places but unfortunately he doesn’t want to work. My in-laws were always pressuring me for dowry money and didn’t even provide food for me!
Nari Mukti Sangha, a Bangladeshi organization, brought me to Basha. I have enjoyed the opportunity to train with Basha. I have learned many things including hand stitching, tailoring, computer skills and English. I want to work at Basha as long as I can in order to provide for my needs.
