“dignify is the largest global retailer of Basha kantha blankets & quilts, and Basha is the exclusive supplier of everything we sell in our store. We, dignify, are wholly yoked to Basha and their gorgeous products, remarkable story, reliably excellent quality, and thorough integrity.
Working with Basha is one of the most straightforward, uncomplicated, and reliable aspects of our business. Being 100% confident in the process and the product is why we are so loyal to Basha; I can’t imagine having the same level of trust in any other supplier.
Quality-wise, Basha is without compare. The edges are finished cleanly, the stitching is
consistent and elegant, and the fabric is tested and controlled to be without holes, nicks, or scuffs, as is common in kantha sales. Through 15,000+ Basha products, we have rarely had a quality issue. In fact, the only times we’ve ever received a customer complaint about quality, it has always turned out that they bought their item somewhere else!
We have built a successful retail business around Basha kantha because the excellence of
the product stands on its own merit. But, it is the story behind the products that impacts their marketability and customers’ good feelings about their purchases. In a landscape of brands’ greenwashing, or social good that is unconfirmed or questionable, Basha is the real deal. They truly facilitate an environment for work that is healthy, safe, wholistic, and loving. Women earn a sustainable wage, but are provided so much more. I have seen with my own eyes that Basha truly changes lives and advances good in this world.

“Decorator’s Notebook is born out of the belief that through ethical homeware and gifts we wish to promote and change lives and help others shop more consciously. We believe design, quality and ethics go hand-in-hand. We scour the globe sourcing beautiful pieces from fair trade groups, social enterprises and artisan co-operatives to offer you a collection of handcrafted products, which all have an inspirational social story to tell.
We are proud to continue to work and support the special women at Basha.
Our vintage sari quilts, shawls, scarves and bags are all one-of-a-kind, with unique sari patterns and colours that are both charming and practical. As beautiful products emerge from discarded cloth, broken lives are made whole again, stitch by stitch. We are so thrilled to be part of that!”.

HelleK Kunst & Design
“HelleK Kunst & Design is a small shop located on the harbor in Hundested in Denmark. Here I sell arts and crafts from several different countries. I’m looking for the good story behind the products I sell. I have chosen to collaborate with Basha because they produce beautiful applied arts and crafts.
In addition, it is a project that supports women by giving them a place where they can learn something at the same time and gain faith and hope for a better future. I myself visited the project in Dhaka in 2019 and was very impressed to see the project and how the women and their children are being cared for.
Basha also thinks about sustainability by using recycled saris in their production.
