My name is Ronjona. I am 20 years old. I am married and have two children, a 6 year-old girl and a baby boy. When I was little, my mother sent me to live in children’s home but after studying  to class four, my mother brought me back and married me to my cousin.
My husband makes local saris but his income was very low. To maintain our family livelihood he borrowed money and went to Malaysia illegally.  He wasn’t paid the wages he expected, and I was pressured to return money to the lenders. I heard about this training from an NGO and joined the Basha Training program. I learned computer typing, basic English and kantha blanket sewing.
I am enjoying the training, and I am able to pay the lenders back. I also learned about various health related issues and moral values. I have a dream to educate my children and to have a tailor shop where I can teach other women like me.
