My name is Rekha. My life was very difficult before I received training from Basha’s partner organization, Children’s Uplift Programme. I learned how to sew, and I received love and care. I was able to share with them and they counselled me. I didn’t have honor before. Now people appreciate my work. Every morning I come to work with my children. My children go to the day care and I know they are safe for the whole day. I am happy that I have a dignified work. I love this workplace. Everyone cares for each other. I am striving to earn more money each month so that I can help my mother financially. I have a dream to buy a sewing machine so that I can make clothes for my family as well as for the neighbors. I am praying that the Lord will help me to make a better future for my children.
