My mother died when I was 12 years old and my father died soon after her. I have had a very difficult life. Before training at Pobitra I only had one set of clothes that were torn. I ate every second day.
Since starting training at Pobitra and work at Basha I have five sets of clothing. I can buy food to eat each day so I am much healthier now. I’m so happy that I can provide for myself by sewing blankets. I love working at Basha because it is a safe environment and the staff loves me. I am saving money for my future.
