My name is Kojol. I have one son whose name is Yeasin. Previously my life was very sorrowful. My husband had left me. I was wandering around Dhaka, but no one would help me. A woman told me about Basha’s partner organisation, CUP, but I had no idea where it was.
Then one day I saw women carrying lunch boxes and I followed them to the CUP office. I kept going again and again until they understood I had no home and no one to help me. When my son was born, I stayed at CUP’s night shelter.
I am so excited that now I have the opportunity to work at Basha. I have less sorrow than before. I have been reunited with my husband. One day I want to be a supervisor at Basha.
