My name is Aysha. My father passed away when I was a child. I am the only child of my parents. Now I live with my parents in a government place beside the bank of the river. The government can evict us at any time. My mother does household work in different people’s houses. I could not study due to my parents’ financial problems. My husband is a drug addict and doesn’t work. My parents were not able to give a dowry to him and that is why he often beat me and never supported me. My husband left me one year ago. I am very happy and thankful to God that through the Basha office I received sewing instruction and other training to survive. Now I can work as a full-time producer in the Basha Boutique. My wish is that through this work opportunity I can earn money and that I will rise again and live with dignity.
