Disha and her mother, Shanta, both benefit from th Disha and her mother, Shanta, both benefit from the support that Basha and @friendsofbasha provides. Shanta was forced out of her house when she was pregnant with Disha and had no means to support herself and a small child. Shanta found work at Basha, and Disha is thriving in our daycare environment while her mother works. Our daycare provides a loving, supportive environment for children whose mothers are training or working as artisans with Basha. Elija's Story 💛 My name is Elija. I grew up in an Elija's Story 💛 My name is Elija. I grew up in an orphanage. When I was four years old, my mother left me in an orphanage. I didn’t continue my studies. I left that orphanage when I was 15 years old. I realized that leaving home was my biggest mistake. My husband helps me a lot but it is not enough for a family. I have only one son, and I want to give him a proper education that will help him to have a bright future. I am happy with Basha daycare. I can keep my son there before I start my work. I will work hard for him.
