Elija's Story 💛 My name is Elija. I grew up in Elija's Story 💛 My name is Elija. I grew up in an orphanage. When I was four years old, my mother left me in an orphanage. I didn’t continue my studies. I left that orphanage when I was 15 years old. I realized that leaving home was my biggest mistake. My husband helps me a lot but it is not enough for a family. I have only one son, and I want to give him a proper education that will help him to have a bright future. I am happy with Basha daycare. I can keep my son there before I start my work. I will work hard for him. I suffered long after my mom died because I was brought up by my step-mother and my father sent me to a job in a factory as laborer. I wasn’t able to go to school. Because of family issues, I fled away from home. After more difficult times I came to Dhaka where I met my husband. I have a boy who is 4 years old. I want my child to grow up to be a good person. I had training at Basha’s partner NGO, CUP. My husband faced an accident and broke his leg he couldn’t earn money at all. Now I have a job in Basha and I have a good life. I love having a good job that gives me respect.
