Our sister organization, Friends of Basha, exists to address a painful reality in Bangladesh: many women are trapped in cycles of poverty, trafficking, child marriage, domestic violence, and exploitation. With limited education and few safe options, survival often means enduring abuse or being forced into unsafe work. Friends of Basha steps in to break this cycle. Through safe shelter, trauma-informed counseling, education, childcare, and life skills training, women are given the tools and support they need to rebuild. It’s more than aid—it’s the beginning of lasting change. Their work makes the empowerment we celebrate at Basha Boutique possible.
