“My daughter’s education is my first priority. No matter what happens, I hold on to this one thing: that she will learn, grow, and build a future for herself. My hopes for her are simple but strong. I want her to become independent. I want her to have a career of her own, to be part of society, and to live with dignity. That matters to me more than anything else.
Sometimes I think about whether she understands how much I am doing for her. I hope one day she will see that every effort, every long day, every sacrifice comes from my love for her.
Life is not always easy, but I am grateful that I work at Basha. It gives me comfort to know that my daughter is cared for in a nurturing environment, surrounded by people who look after her well. That thought brings me so much peace and happiness.
